Have you been feeling cooped-up for too long now? It’s time to step out for a new adventure.
Costa de Hamilo is one of the richest eco-tourism spot in the country. Sitting in 13 coves with a 30-kilometer long coast line, it is home to part of the Coral Triangle. The Coral Triangle is home to 76% of the world’s coral species. This means that there lies a rich biodiversity underwater.
Did you know that we played an instrumental role in helping preserve this global treasure? We advocated for the 3 coves to be declared as MARINE PROTECTED AREAS (MPAs). This means that the corals are guarded and monitored regularly, allowing diverse fish species to proliferate.
Now above the land, we protect the lush forest and the indigenous bird species, most found only in the Philippines.
